On April 11, 2025, VA Pacific Islands Health Care System held an event at the Daniel K. Akaka VA Clinic in Kapolei. The event included an “Ohana Open Market” food distribution, an information fair, a medication takeback, and a “Coffee and Conversations” women Veterans gathering.
